Insitu interns are fully immersed in projects that make a difference within our business and mentored by an Insitu team member who shares their passion. We’re looking for interns who are currently enrolled in an accredited college or university with a GPA of at least 3.0 for the winter, summer, or fall terms.
At Insitu we strive to promote a fun and flexible work environment for our employees. To accomplish this, a majority of our company operates on a 9/80 schedule, meaning work hours are distributed to allow most of our employees to have every other Friday off. In addition to allowing for a better work/life balance, we aim to help our employees take advantage of the awesome places we call home on these off-Fridays through our 9/80 Active Friday Program, which provides various events for Insitu employees free of charge. Windsurfing, wine tasting, waterfall hikes, sternwheeler cruises on the Columbia River and sailing in the Bay Area are just a few examples of Active Fridays our employees have gotten to enjoy thus far.
Availability of the 9/80 schedule and Active Friday program is dependent on individual employee duties and responsibilities. Potential new hires should discuss participation in this program with Insitu Human Resources.
It’s hard to beat the benefits of working for such a diverse, inclusive team, but we always like to rise to a challenge. Our goal is to ensure a competitive total compensation package including wages, benefits, and incentives. Our benefits include:
Foundational to our company values and continued success as a high-performing, community-minded organization is our firm commitment to diversity and inclusion. For us, diversity is in the mix, and inclusion is in making the mix work. That means pioneering products and services through an eclectic workforce in partnership with our distinct communities through an array of business partners for our global customers.
We invite well-behaved dogs to accompany their parents to work in several of our facilities. Having Rambo, Marley, Biff, Jasper and the rest of our furry friends with us in the office not only leads to a more pleasant and productive work environment, but encourages our employees to get to know each other better through their pets. We believe that allowing our canine companions to visit with our employees once every week also boosts morale and lowers stress in the form of a happily wagging tail, a quick ear-scratch and lots of love to their owners and their colleagues.
Please consult Insitu Human Resources or the Insitu Employee Handbook to learn more about our dog-friendly workplace policy before bringing a dog to our facilities.
