9/80 Active Fridays
At Insitu we strive to promote a fun and flexible work environment for our employees. To accomplish this, a majority of our company operates on a 9/80 schedule, meaning work hours are distributed to allow most of our employees to have every other Friday off. In addition to allowing for a better work/life balance, we aim to help our employees take advantage of the awesome places we call home on these off-Fridays. The Columbia Gorge is home to some of the best windsurfing, wine tasting, waterfall hikes, mountain biking and other recreation that Oregon has to offer. We also offer “Active Fridays” where you can join in with your coworkers to enjoy some of these activities in a group setting.
We invite well-behaved dogs to accompany their parents to work in several of our facilities. Having Rambo, Marley, Biff, Jasper and the rest of our furry friends with us in the office not only leads to a more pleasant and productive work environment, but encourages our employees to get to know each other better through their pets. We believe that allowing our canine companions to visit with our employees once every week also boosts morale and lowers stress in the form of a happily wagging tail, a quick ear-scratch and lots of love to their owners and their colleagues.
*Due to COVID-19 health and safety concerns, dogs are not currently allowed at Insitu facilities.
At Insitu the health and safety of our team members is paramount. Due to the risks of COVID 19 we have increased our cleaning regimen, provided hospital-grade cleaning supplies at all work sites, and require masks at all US Insitu sites. Due to COVID-19 health and safety concerns:
Dogs are not currently allowed at Insitu facilities.
The majority of the Insitu team is working virtually.
Active Fridays have become Virtual Events.
