Boeing Defence Australia will provide ILS support and integration lessons learned with Army through the Currawong Battlespace Communications System, and Boeing

Australia’s research and development work in One to Many Control, machine learning, and Detect and Avoid (DAA) technologies are being integrated into the
future roadmap. “Leveraging common capability and our Boeing-wide investment in autonomous systems is what enables our success locally on programs like the Boeing Airpower Teaming System,” said Scott Carpendale, Vice President and Managing Director, Boeing Defence Australia. “Bringing this full capability to bear to support the Insitu Pacific team will ensure Army successfully fields a robust LAND 129 capability today with a leading-edge future growth path.”

As well as internal investment in autonomous systems in Australia, Insitu Pacific has been partnering with local Australian small-to-medium enterprises and universities to design and field innovative UAS technologies since its establishment in Brisbane in 2009.

“Our LAND 129 response has enabled us to lay the groundwork to take our strong local team to the next level of capability,” Duggan said. “We’re ready to support
Army now with our trusted and proven systems, and we’re investing in future innovation and efficiency to meet Defence’s evolving requirements.”
