Next to our work creating and supporting unmanned aircraft systems, the most rewarding thing we do is help inspire the next generation of innovators. Here’s an at-a-glance look at how we nurture young, local talent through science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) education initiatives.

STEM Highlights

STEM Education

Nurturing young, local talent for the future.

FLYING HIGH

Roboflight Academy (RFA) is an annual robotics program that brings high school students, Insitu engineers and aviation experts together the second week of July to build and fly unmanned aircraft.

TALKING TECH

During Insitu’s annual STEM Student Tech Tour, high school students from the five-county Gorge region get a one-hour campus tour of Insitu so they can learn more about our career opportunities.

STEM STUDENT CAREER DAY

The third annual Gorge Technology Alliance STEM Career Day took place at the Columbia Gorge Community College and Readiness Center in The Dalles, Oregon. More than 800 seventh graders from the five-county Columbia River Gorge region were invited to attend to hear inspiring presentations from 17 local area businesses, including Insitu.
