The Gorge is Our Home
It’s been said there’s no place like home – and we wholeheartedly agree. The Gorge is your home and ours, so we’re all-in when it comes to helping make our local community a world-class place to live and work. Our business growth has taken us from garage to global, and so has our approach to community engagement and corporate social responsibility. Through purposeful investments, thoughtful advocacy, volunteerism and outreach, Insitu and its employees support innovative partnerships and programs to help build better, more remarkable communities in the Columbia River Gorge.

Community Highlights
In 2020, Insitu collected 264 units of blood, with the potential to save 792 lives! The pandemic can’t stop us from helping one of our favorite partners.
To find out how you can participate in the next Insitu blood drive, visit The Insitu Blood Drive Page. You will see a schedule of our upcoming events where you can donate a pint!

Insitu employees are happy to play Secret Santa for our annual Tree of Joy gift-giving campaign. Each year, Insitu has given a little holiday happiness to more than 125 families and the elderly in Hood River, Klickitat and Skamania Counties – and in the future, we hope to help even more.

Winter arrives early in the Gorge and every year, Insitu employees and volunteers collect warm coats, boots, and gloves for local children and others in need.

Grant Policy and Eligibility Requirements
Through purposeful investments, employee engagement and thoughtful advocacy efforts, Insitu and its employees support innovative partnerships and programs that align with our strategic objectives, create value and help build better communities worldwide. This includes improving access to globally competitive learning as well as workforce and skills development, and supporting our military and veteran communities.
For your non-profit 501(c)(3) to be considered for a Charitable Grant from Insitu, please send a letter of intent for your project by email to community@insitu.com. If your project fits within the scope of the Insitu grant program, you will then be provided a grant application and asked to submit a current W-9 affirming your 501(c)(3) status for further consideration with our grant committee. Submission of either a letter of intent or an application does not guarantee approval.
We are very happy to work with our local community organizations and appreciate your understanding that not all requests can be funded. The opportunities that non-profit organizations provide are essential to the continuing well-being of our region. Thank you all for the amazing work you do to make the lives of our youth and communities better!
