
Recruitment Process
At Insitu Pacific we follow a tailored recruitment and selection process which is dependant upon the position you apply for: We will follow the following process (or similar) to select our employees:
- Receipt of your application will be acknowledged by email. Please note that incomplete applications will not be considered.
- If you are shortlisted, we will conduct a 15-20 minute phone interview. We will provide you with a detailed overview of our Company, the position you have applied for and ask you questions about your background.
- You may then be invited to attend a behavioural based interview, which can take up to one hour. Before your interview, we will talk to you about the panel members, the interview process, location, and any special needs you have.
- During the interview itself, you will be asked for examples that provide the panel with insight into your knowledge, skills and professional experience. This is also a great chance for you to find out more about our Company and the role you have applied for.
- Some of our positions will require for you to undertake further assessments such as:
- psychometric evaluations;
- pre-employment medical assessments; and
- functional assessments
- psychometric evaluations;
- The next step is reference checking your work referees provided in your application. Professional referees will be previous supervisors or managers who have observed your abilities in a work environment.
- Depending on the role you apply for you may be required to obtain a Department of Defence security clearance. As part of the security clearance application you will be required to obtain a police history check and provide up to ten years of history relating to your employment, home addresses and international travel.
- If successful, you will be made a verbal offer explaining in detail the package being offered.
- If you verbally accept the offer, you will receive a formal offer of employment and other new starter paperwork. This documentation is to be signed and returned to Human Resources to confirm your acceptance of the offer of employment.
