Mary Margaret Evans: Vice President of Corporate Operations

Ms. Evans serves as Vice President of Corporate Operations.  Previously, Ms. Evans served as Insitu’s vice president and general manager of sustainment operations, and prior to that, vice president of planning, processes, and quality management systems. She joined the company in 2006. In August 2006, Ms. Evans left 20 years of government service as the Assistant Deputy Under Secretary of Defense (Defense Technology Integration) in the Advanced Systems and Concepts office of the Office of the Secretary of Defense. Prior to this assignment, Ms. Evans directed the Joint Defense Capabilities Study Team commissioned by Secretary Rumsfeld, under the leadership of the Honorable Pete Aldridge. Known as the "Aldridge Study," the study team proposed new processes and organizational structures to better support joint warfighting needs.

Before becoming a government employee, Ms. Evans was a senior analyst at the General
Research Corporation, McLean, Virginia (December 1982 to June 1986).
