
Ryan M. Hartman: Senior Vice President of Business Development
BS (Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University)Ryan M. Hartman is Senior Vice President of Business Development for Insitu, Inc., a Boeing company and leader in the unmanned aircraft systems and services industry. In this capacity, Mr. Hartman is responsible for the company's sales, marketing, and product development efforts. Mr. Hartman came to Insitu after a 13-year career with Raytheon. Most recently, he established, led and grew the Unmanned Systems directorate of the Advanced Programs division, where he was responsible for Raytheon's prime and systems integration strategy for unmanned aircraft systems.
Mr. Hartman began his career in the U.S. Air Force as a crewmember on the KC-10A Extender. Later he joined the U.S. Naval Reserves as a Naval Aviator serving in VP-91 and VP-65 flying P-3C Orions before joining Raytheon Intelligence and Information Systems in 1997 as a hardware engineer for the Over-the-Horizon Airborne Sensor Information System. Mr. Hartman held program management positions for the Tactical Systems Program Area (Raytheon Network Centric Systems), the Trilateral Frigate Cooperation (Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems) and the Transformational Strike Enterprise Campaign (Raytheon Missile Systems). He then established and led the Mission System Solution directorate in the Advanced Programs division of Raytheon Missile Systems, a group responsible for the prioritization and conceptualization of new weapon systems.
Mr. Hartman studied Aerospace Engineering at Arizona State University before earning his B.S., cum laude, in Technical Management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Mr. Hartman serves on the board of directors for The Next Door Inc., a non-profit organization that has been helping children, families, and communities thrive in the Columbia Gorge; and the Library Foundation board, a non-profit responsible for fundraising and awareness for the Hood River County library system. His professional development training includes the Raytheon Leadership Excellence Program and Raytheon Principles in Program Leadership. Mr. Hartman was recognized with the Raytheon Missile Systems Excellence in Business Development Award. Mr. Hartman holds a current Top Secret clearance from the U.S. Department of Defense.
