Mr. Thom brings to Insitu nearly 24 years of finance and contracting experience supporting Department of 

Defense programs, including Airborne Warning and Control Systems (AWACS), E-6, Joint Strike Fighter

and USAF and International Tankers. His experience also spans all phases of the DoD program life-cycle, 

from early concept design to post-production support, working in both domestic and foreign locations.  

He graduated cum laude from the University of Washington Executive MBA program in 2001, which 

included an international studies effort at Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea. Mr. Thom's

undergraduate BA in Business was obtained from Eastern Washington University, where he 

graduated with honors.

Mr. Thom is currently the president of the Alumni Council of Seattle University’s Center for Leadership 

Formation, following completion of the Seattle University Executive Leadership program in 2007.  He is 

also a member of the National Contract Management Association.
