Esina Alic is Vice President of Global Operations and Supply Chain Management for Insitu, Inc. In this capacity, she is responsible for managing Insitu’s supply base, forming and fostering global network of strategic alliances and working with various stakeholders to develop operational infrastructure needed to execute successfully in international markets. Ms. Alic also manages the affordability function within Insitu, which focuses on driving organizational efficiencies through market-based affordability and lean-plus approaches.
Under Ms. Alic's leadership, Insitu established its first overseas subsidiary, Insitu Pacific in Brisbane, Australia in 2009. Subsequently, she worked on the creation of partnerships that support ongoing business growth in North America, Middle East, Latin America and Europe.
Ms. Alic enjoyed a broad range of career experiences in engineering, program and product management, strategy development and corporate finance. She came to Insitu in 2007 from a senior executive role at Visa, Inc., where, as vice president of finance, she developed strategies for effective partner financial management and prepared the company for its groundbreaking initial public offering, which was at the time the largest IPO in U.S. history.
Previously, as a manager for National Strategy Group at Bearing Point, Ms. Alic worked with the executive teams of Fortune 500 companies to develop global strategies, complete major merger and acquisition programs, enable international execution excellence and drive bottom-line improvements through effective partnerships, process optimization programs and supply chain management.
Ms. Alic earned a BS, summa cum laude, in mechanical engineering from Portland State University and an MBA, summa cum laude, from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley. Ms. Alic serves on the board of directors for Insitu Pacific and the White Salmon Valley Education Foundation that supports local schools to enhance their curriculum.
